I am literally over the cold in Chicago, and it makes it even harder to blog because lets be honest. I do not own ANY winter clothes, and I refuse to purchase any, or cover up when I shoot outside. So rather than shoot this look in the snow and smile while my insides were turning into sorbet, I found a bit of Ghana right in the heart of Chicago. I shot the images at the Conservatory in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. This whole place reminded me of my mother’s garden, especially the fern room where this look was shot.
I received this amazing crop top set from Goodee Girl boutique and I initially had plans of waiting till spring to shoot it, but since I didn’t wear red for my valentine’s shoot…I thought why not. What I LOVE about it is that it has a little peek-a-boo stomach showing without being too revealing, and it is the perfect transition for those of you who are trying to get into the crop top game but are a little scared.
I paired the outfit with two pieces from my all time favorite accessory brand Christie Brown. I will never ever get tired of rocking pieces from Christie Brown, and I am so happy that they have never ever gotten tired of making pieces that make me happy!
Also, I must say I am loving the short bob do that was created for me by Amber. It is far shorter than what I am used to..but so easy to style!
