The Co-Edition Edit
I am all about maximizing clothing this season. So many times I have been known to purchase items that I can only wear once and be done. When the team at Co-Edition, an amazing new online retailer with sizes 10 and up, challenged me to style a jacket three ways…I knew it would be fun.
The trick with jackets is that they can take an outfit from basic to chic within seconds. Here is what I did.
Look 1- The Belted look
One key trick with jackets is that you can turn them into tops. For this look I wanted to add a different spin on wearing a jacket with a dress. I rolled up the sleeves of the jacket and buttoned all the way up. To help add some femininity and to show off the curves, I added a black belt (which actually came with the dress)
Look 2 - The casual work look
I wanted to add some fun to a basic look. One of my absolute favorite pants are these City-Chic wrap pants. They are fun and playful while delivering on modern chic.I threw the jacket over the shoulder to add a classic touch and softness to the look. By having the pink to the standard black and white look I gave a bit of my personality.
Look 3 - The Weekend Chic
This is the kind of look I would wear to a brunch over the weekend. I wanted to make sure I was showing off the detailing of the lace dress while also giving the jacket its full glory. For this look I threw the jacket over my shoulder almost like a cape.
Hope you enjoyed all these looks, and make sure to check out the amazing pieces from Co-Edition. I linked some of my favorites below.
